Linear 84C/184c Panel False Ceiling System technical details

Linear 84C has been used extensively on exterior and interior applications and gives designers options for visual design continuity. Panels are clipped into the concealed suspension system to form a closed joint linear ceiling. It will give a rhythm to any Project, where colors & length come together. Various acoustical criteria can be met with the inclusion of acoustical inlays.

Panel (Galvanized Steel):

Metalium make 84C Panels are roll formed using state of the art roll forming lines to 84mm wide, 12.5 mm deep & 0.45 / 0.5 mm TCT Galvanized Steel as per IS-513 with recessed flange of 24 mm. Panel length is up to approximate 5 mtr. Panel shall be coil coated on external surface only. When two panels are to be joined, they shall be joined together by means of panel coupler suitable for 84C Panel.

Panel (Aluminium):

Metalium make 84C Panels are roll formed using state of the art roll forming lines to 84mm wide, 12.5 mm deep & 0.5 / 0.6 / 0.7 mm TCT Aluminium alloys like AA-8011 etc with recessed flange of 24 mm. Panel length is up to approximate 5 mtr. Panel shall be powder coated / coil coated on external surface only.

When two panels are to be joined, they shall be joined together by means of panel coupler suitable for 84C Panel.

Paint Detail:

Coil coated panel shall be chromatized for maximum bond between metal and paint, enamelled twice under high temperature, one side with full primer and finish coat, the other side (Inner side) with a primer coating and skin coat on continuous paint line or Powder coated panel shall be 50 microns thick on exposed surface.

Perforation Details:

2mm dia, 7mm Centre to Centre in diagonal Pattern.

Installation detail:

The carrier shall be suspended from slab/truss by 4mm dia galvanized rod & height adjustment powder coated spring steel clips at maximum 1.2 to 1.5 meter centre to centre. The 4mm dia galvanized rod shall be fixed to slab by forming one end “J” shape with roll inserts.

Carrier:

Carrier shall be 32 mm wide and 39 mm deep with cutouts to hold the panel in a module of 100 mm, carrier shall be roll formed out of 0.5 mm GI coil and cut to a standard length of 2.5 mtr. When two or more carriers are to be joined, they shall be joined together by means of carrier coupler which will clip on to the holes in the sides of the cut carrier and hold them firmly in place while maintaining the module of 100mm centre to centre.

Edge Profile

Edge profile shall be L- shaped, roll formed out of 0.5mm Galvanized steel / aluminium strips with coil coating or powder Coating in standard colors.
